CUIDAR LO QUE COMPARTIMOS

A few simple rules

Your story matters. These rules help protect the people sharing their stories and anyone mentioned in them.

Who can submit a story

Only people aged 14 or older. Reading and Help are open to all ages. There is currently no parental authorisation process for submissions by children under 14.

What we can publish

Personal accounts of bullying, past or present. You do not have to explain it perfectly.

What we will remove before publication

  • First and last names.
  • Schools.
  • Phone numbers and email addresses.
  • Social media accounts and profile links.
  • Addresses.
  • Other details that could identify someone.

Sometimes several details together can identify a person. We check these too. We will preserve the meaning of your account; if we cannot protect privacy without changing it, we will not publish it.

If we are unsure whether someone could be recognised from the context, we do not publish. Your permission does not allow us to publish other people's personal or sensitive data.

What we will not publish

  • Threats.
  • Accusations identifying specific people.
  • Other people's private information.
  • Content intended to harass another person.
  • Spam or advertising.

A person reviews it first

We review stories periodically, and none is published until a person has reviewed it. We do not offer immediate assistance.

If we missed something

At the end of each published story, you can request a private review if it contains information that identifies you. You do not need the author's withdrawal code. The request will reach the team and will not be visible to anyone else.

If you shared the story and still have your code, you can withdraw it directly.
